Santali Technology World is the World’s first Santali-language Technology Educational Platform and YouTube
Channel, officially recognized by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
It is a self-reliant, independent, and neutral digital education platform, not affiliated with any individual,
political party, religious organization, Gaunta organization, institution, or club.
Acting as both a digital school and a digital voice, the platform is dedicated to the development and
empowerment of the Santal community. It operates under its own rules and regulations, managed by a
committed team of members and volunteers.
On July 17, 2021, Suniram Murmu, born into a Santal family in the Purba Bardhaman district of West Bengal,
founded this platform. The primary mission of Santali Technology World is to develop, transform, and empower the Santal community through technological education.

History of STW
In today’s modern digital era, where the world is rapidly advancing through Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and digital transformation, many indigenous communities still remain far behind. Among them is the Santal community of India — rich in culture and heritage, yet historically underserved in technological education.
Santali Technology World (STW) was born to change that reality.
The Beginning of a Mission
Santali Technology World was founded on 17 July 2021 by Suniram Murmu, born on 1 November 2003 in Purba Bardhaman district, West Bengal, India. From an early age, Suniram had a deep passion for technology, particularly computers, electrical systems, and electronics.
After completing his secondary education, his mother gifted him a mobile phone — a simple device that became the gateway to a much larger technological journey.
One day, while browsing Facebook, Suniram noticed innocent members of the Santal community falling victim to online scams and cyber fraud. He realized that the root cause was not weakness — it was a lack of digital awareness and technological education. Deeply moved by these incidents, he made a personal commitment:
He would empower his community through technology.
The Struggles Behind the Success
The beginning was not easy. Suniram received little support from family and society. He often recorded videos secretly in open fields. Neighbors grew suspicious, and his father initially discouraged him.
But everything changed when one of his videos suddenly went viral.
His father watched the video, felt proud, and not only supported him — but also bought him a camera stand and lighting equipment to improve his content creation journey.
That moment marked a turning point.
Academic Influence & Social Engagement
After finishing school, Suniram enrolled at Mankar College. There, he met Professor Nalin Mardi — a Santali scholar, writer, and social worker — who became a guiding mentor. Under his direction, Suniram began participating in national and international Santali seminars and programs, delivering speeches on the importance of technology in the Santal community.
His vision was growing beyond YouTube — it was becoming a movement.
Entering the AI Revolution
In 2024, the world experienced a major AI revolution. However, the Santal community still lacked access to AI education in their own language.
To bridge this gap, Suniram launched:
STW AI Chat Bot, accessible via Messenger
AI awareness programs
Community-based digital training initiatives
Along with his college friend Robin Murmu, he initially planned to conduct an AI Workshop in colleges. Despite submitting formal permission letters to institutions like Mankar College and Memari College, administrative approval was not granted.
Instead of giving up, they chose a different path.
They decided to build their own independent AI education system.

On 1 June 2025, Santali Technology World officially launched:

Generative AI Course in Santali
AI Master Course in Santali (2026)
Students from India, Nepal, and Bangladesh joined these programs, marking a historic milestone — AI education delivered in the Santali language.
Beyond YouTube – A Complete Digital Movement
Today, Santali Technology World is far more than a YouTube channel. It is a structured, independent digital platform dedicated to empowering the Santal community.
